Monitoring arrangements

The Voices for Change Cymru project will run for 3 years from May 2008, with support from the Big Lottery Fund.

The overall target for the project is to engage with 2000 organisations over the lifetime of the project and the outcomes that are being worked towards include:

• people and communities in Wales having a greater understanding of how the Assembly works and how they can work with it

• people and communities in Wales being better able to influence the assembly’s work and communicate with Assembly Members

• grass roots experience of services being better fed into the work of the Assembly legislature and local government scrutiny

• assembly policy better reflecting the needs and experience of people and communities in Wales

• increasing skills and confidence for people and communities in developing and articulating ideas and needs
