Assembly Liaison Group

WCVA’s Assembly Liaison Group is run by the Voices for Change Cymru project. The group is made up of individuals working at a national level in Wales who interact regularly with the National Assembly for Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government. This includes policy officers, campaigners, public affairs officers and researchers. The group has a particular focus on the work of the National Assembly for Wales and addresses issues such as engaging with Assembly Committees; the legislative process; devolution; and how the sector can have its voice heard more effectively within the Assembly.

The group also acts as an informal steering group for the Voices for Change Cymru project advising us on the services we provide, how we can improve what we offer and acting as a sounding board for project ideas. The group also shares information, experiences, campaigns and ideas as a way of increasing learning and good practice across the third sector in Wales.
