Other resources
In this section you will find links to some other useful organisations and resources. They are relevant to the work that Voices for Change Cymru is involved with and we hope they are helpful in terms of getting your voice heard.
This project is a part of Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA), which is the voice of the voluntary sector in Wales; representing and campaigning for voluntary organisations, volunteers and communities.
The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) is WCVA’s sister organisation in England. They have a well-resourced Campaigning Effectiveness team who do plenty of good work on campaigning and lobbying issues. It is also important to remember that Wales is till part of the UK, and so systems and process at Westminster are still relevant to Welsh politics.
The Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) represents the interests of local government and promotes local democracy in Wales. Their website contains lots of topic based information on issues that affect local government. It is worth noting that WCVA works closely with WLGA to represent the interests of the third sector to local government.
