We made a DVD called 'Hidden Lives' to help change peoples attitudes about people with learning disabilities.
If you want to join Cardiff People First can you tell us about yourself and where you live and we will send you some information or speak to you about what we do.

Disability Wales
Disability Wales 'Streets Ahead' campaign is uncovering the barriers that restrict disabled peoples access to highstreets in Wales - also identifying and celebrating good practice along the way. DW will produce a campaign report at the end of September with details of outcomes and reccomendations for change. Further information about the campaign can be found here http://www.disabilitywales.org/1086
Cardiff Friends of the Earth
We are a local group of Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We are a friendly group of volunteers campaigning on local, regional and national environmental campaigns. We've been very active recently, recently having defeated an application for an incinerator in Cardiff. But the threats and pressures on the environment are ever increasing. Every year there are more and more issues needing a green voice. That's why we're always eager to welcome new members and activists. As you can see from our web pages, we have a huge range of activities; from fun outdoors stuff to petitioning and lobbying politicians. The group is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Members can be involved as much or as little as they like, choosing the campaigns that interest them - currently we are campaigning on climate change, the food chain and some other local issues.
