Welsh Affairs Select Committee

The Welsh Affairs select committee is one of the key Parliamentary Committees for organisations working in Wales to be aware of. It is a House of Commons select committee made up of 12 MPs. Its terms of reference are to examine matters within the responsibility of the Secretary of State for Wales including relations with the National Assembly for Wales. In practice this means that it scrutinises the work of the Wales Office and the Secretary of State for Wales

Organisations with an interest in the impact of non-devolved policy and legislation on Wales will want to both monitor and feed into the work of the Committee.
