Fire sprinklers in new homes? – have your say.
22 Jul 2010A cross-party committee of Assembly Members has begun scrutinising a proposed new law that, if passed, will mean water sprinklers will become standard in new homes.
The proposed Domestic Fire Safety (Wales) Measure will for the first time compel house builders to fit automatic sprinklers into new homes built in Wales.
It was introduced as a backbench Measure by Vale of Clwyd AM Ann Jones and will now be scrutinised by the National Assembly for Wales Legislation Committee No.1
Now the Committee wants to hear views from members of the public and interested groups.
