Aims:
To give participants the knowledge of how decisions are made within the political structures in Wales so they can improve the effectiveness of their political campaigning.
Content:
In Wales, the more you know about political structures and how decisions are made, the easier it will be for you to start to plan your campaign of influence. This active and participatory workshop will provide you with all the relevant, up-to-date information about the levels of government, what issues they can make decisions about and where powers lie in Wales.
Learning outcomes:
By attending this course you will be able to ….
• Improve your knowledge and understanding about how Welsh political structures and processes work
• Learn which issues are dealt with at a local, national, UK and European level

This introductory course is aimed at those working in voluntary and community organisations who want to influence decision making in Wales.
